On November 15, the project of Joint Innovation Center for Synthetic Biochemistry Application of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology was signed at the 24th China International Hi tech Fair. At the same time, the Women's Science and Technology Innovation Fund, jointly initiated by Walt Corporation and four companies, including the Shenzhen Advanced Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was unveiled and established at the "Maker's Night" event of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at the High tech Fair, and donated to the first batch of women to receive funding.
This signing of the contract will enable both parties to cooperate in the fields of biosynthesis and biomanufacturing, fully utilizing the talent resources and advanced technological achievements of scientific research institutions, and cooperating with the production conditions and market operation advantages of enterprises to jointly promote the transformation and implementation of scientific research achievements. The establishment of the Women's Science and Technology Innovation Fund will also establish a women's technology innovation service platform, providing necessary support and communication platforms for women in the process of technology innovation and entrepreneurship, and promoting the development of women's technology innovation cause.

The Joint Innovation Center will mainly collaborate on cutting-edge technology research, new product development, technology platform establishment, and talent cultivation in areas such as bio based polymer materials and animal and plant nutrition. This project will be the only joint innovation center established by Shenzhen Advanced Institute in cooperation with foreign countries under the name of "Application of Synthetic Biochemistry", and also the first joint innovation center in Shenzhen, playing a demonstrative and leading role in the innovation of social research models.
